For a few weeks now SayBoot has had something it never had before: videos. Short, vertical, about half a minute each, one a day.
There are three kinds. There are the real-life scenes: the couch that's too comfy to get up from, game night, the download that finishes while you sleep. There are the fixes, which solve the Wake-on-LAN problems I see most often in the diagnostics you send me: Windows Fast Startup, the network card that isn't listening, the PC on Wi-Fi. And there's a little animated series, starring someone who has exactly your problems and slightly less patience.
They're in English, because SayBoot is now used in almost ninety countries and English is the language that travels furthest.

The Fast Startup one in particular is worth a look even if SayBoot already works for you: it's the setting I find switched on in almost one PC out of two among those that send me a diagnostic, and it takes three steps to fix.
Why I'm asking you to follow us
SayBoot doesn't pay for ads. So far it has grown in one way only: someone tried it, liked it, and told a friend.
The videos are the same word of mouth, just faster. And social media has one simple rule: a video that gets watched to the end, commented on or sent to someone in its first hours is shown to many more people. One that goes unnoticed stops there. For a project as small as this one, the first viewers make all the difference.
So I'm asking you for three things, and none of them takes more than a tap:
- Follow SayBoot on the platform you already use. One is enough, no need to sign up everywhere.
- Like the videos you enjoy.
- If a video makes you think of someone, send it to them. That friend who leaves the PC on all night, the colleague who complains that Wake-on-LAN doesn't work: they're the ones who need it.

The WhatsApp channel is the quietest one: no videos, just the important news, a few times a month.
Tell me what to show next
The best ideas for the fixes came from your diagnostics and your emails. If something cost you half an hour and you'd like to see it explained in thirty seconds, or there's a moment at home when SayBoot saved your evening, write it to me: the message is already half written. I read everything, as always.
